Brittany B. Ashworth, DVM attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a B.A. in Biology.She then attended Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech and received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2003. A native of Newport News, Dr. Ashworth returned to the area after graduating.
She began working at Poquoson Veterinary Hospital in June 2003.

Since childhood Dr. Ashworth wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and is now finally living out her dream. Everyday as a veterinarian brings new and exciting cases. She loves all the furry friends but also has a special interest for rabbit medicine.
She also enjoys animal dentistry. Dr. Ashworth is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Ashworth and her husband enjoy spendin
