    Judith Jones (née Bailey; March 10, 1924 – August 2, 2017)[1] was an American writer and proofreader.

    She was best known for having rescued The Diary of Anne Frank from the reject pile.[2] Jones also helped publish Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking.[3][4]
